Our Story
It was 2012 when Viktor stepped into a Russian Banya at an off grid facility in Portland, Oregon. His experience? Nothing short of a glorious night of a powerful outflow of endorphins rushing from his brain into his body after doing his sauna and cold plunge rounds. From that night he was hooked. Some people like to say that the cold plunge is their drug of choice and we don’t blame them. Studies show that the amount of endorphins that get released into your body after a cold plunge are more powerful than most illegal substances (which we highly condemn). Fast forward a few years. Viktor and Danny find themselves in a commercial space bathhouse in Washington State. This time, Danny was hooked. Since then he built his own personal sauna and cold plunge station at his house. In 2021 Viktor moved to Charlotte from Portland Oregon. When looking for a sauna/cold plunge facility in CLT, he couldn’t find one. It dawned upon him that this great city has not yet been introduced to the sauna culture. Introducing the idea opening a commercial sauna space to Danny was the best step of faith he took. Both of them became passionate with the idea of introducing the BathHouse culture to the queen city. This is who we are.

Bathhouse CLT is a wellness center that provides its attendees a high-end holistic experience. Here at the bathhouse, we strive to treat everyone that walks through our doors with exceptional care. We believe that wellness and health is a human right that is gifted to us by the creator. We strive to bring this gift to the society around us, which results in healthier people, which results in happier people, which results in a more thriving society. We are a place where the community can come together, and not just experience relaxation but see how the relaxation can benefit their every day lives by improving their mental and physical well-being.
